‘The construction is being done in a way that FIFA matches can be organized in the future, adhering to FIFA standards. The pitch will be upgraded to international standards. A state-of-the-art lighting system is being installed,’ responded Anto Augustine to the media. He further added that once the stadium work is completed, the upgraded facility will feature a 50,000-seat capacity, brand-new VVIP galleries, and a state-of-the-art pavilion. Structural reinforcements, including a stronger ceiling and enhanced spectator facilities, are also part of the project.
The Kerala government, in collaboration with Reporter Broadcasting Company, is leaving no stone unturned to make this event a global spectacle. Renovation works are progressing rapidly to ensure that the stadium is ready for the big day, which is expected to fall between November 12 and 18.
